It has been a long time since I've been involved in writing content, and I'm so excited to begin this website, combining not just two, but three of my passions: fashion, fitness, and saving money! We all know of the big fitness brands like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, as well as the "Instagram crowd of brands" like Lululemon, Gymshark, P'tula, Balance Athletica, but we don't always like the price tag that comes with them! Never fear, Caly is here!
As a girl in her early 20's needing to be financially independent, I don't have as much disposable income as I would like (lets be real, we could always use a little more!), but sometimes you just really, really want that pair of Gymshark Camo Seamless Leggings that run for $60...well, what if I told you that you could get an almost identical (or completely identical in some cases), for just $25? This is what this dupe list is all about, and on a broader scale, what this entire website is about!
We love dupes! What is a dupe? Well, for the purposes of this website, a dupe is:
A look-alike of an item that either mimics that item in either pattern, style, quality, or any combination of the three, usually cheaper than the original version.
If you haven't jumped into the world of dupes yet, let me tell you, it is a huge world! You'll be amazed by how much money you can save by purchasing alternatives that can be just as good quality as the original and look identical, but without the logo. I'll get into more specific dupes for specific brands in future posts, but to start off on our dupe journey with a bang, I've compiled a master list of dupes in this google sheet:
The rules and structure of the dupe list is as follows:
There are tabs based on brands, we currently have a Lululemon, Gymshark and "Other Brands" tab. If you are looking for a specific brand that isn't Lululemon or Gymshark, check the Other Brands section!
Each dupe is listed with the original name of the original dupe item, a link to the original website for the item, the original price, followed by the brand selling the dupe, the name of the dupe, the link to the dupe (us and other countries), the price of the dupe *Prices may fluctuate!, any notes I might have on the item, and if I've been able to find a youtube review for the item, it will also be provided.
Some dupes will have more than one seller that you can pick from! Make sure to peruse all your possible dupe options!
This list is constantly updating! I plan on sending out a weekly subscribers email with my new finds of the week every Saturday, and then updating the document to reflect these changes by Monday! Make sure to subscribe for getting the early scoop though!
I hope this will be a helpful resource to all of my fellow veteran dupe hunters, and to those new to navigating the dupe world, I know it can be overwhelming, so I hope to make your journey into the wonderful, and fiscally less painful, of dupes more organized!
